Palmster Privacy Policy

Palmster ("the app", "we", "us") is a palm-reading app for entertainment. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. By using Palmster you agree to this policy.

Summary

• We do not require an account and we do not collect your name, email, or contacts.
• Your palm readings and palm photos are stored only on your device.
• To generate a reading, the palm photo you capture is sent to our AI provider (Groq) for analysis. It is used only to produce your reading.
• Purchases are processed by Google Play; we never see your payment details.

Information the app handles

• Palm photos. When you take or select a palm photo, the image is processed on your device and sent over a secure connection to our AI provider (Groq) to generate the reading. We do not attach your identity to the image. Readings and the photos you saved remain stored locally on your device.
• Reading history. Your saved readings, names you add, and preferences (language, dominant hand, reminder setting) are stored locally on your device using on-device storage. They are not uploaded to us.
• Purchases. Credit packs and the Palmster Plus subscription are handled by Google Play In-App Billing. Google processes the transaction; we receive only a confirmation that a purchase completed.
• Notifications. If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device. No data leaves the device for this.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your palm photos to build advertising profiles or track you across apps.
• We do not run our own servers that store your images or readings.

Third-party services

• Groq — processes palm images to generate readings. See Groq's privacy policy.
• Google Play — distributes the app and processes in-app purchases. See Google's privacy policy.

Data retention and deletion

Readings and photos live on your device until you delete them in the app (each reading can be removed, which deletes its stored photo) or uninstall the app. Palm images sent for processing are transmitted to generate your reading and are handled per the provider's policy above; to request deletion of anything associated with your use, contact us below.

Children

Palmster is intended for entertainment and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
